Home Safely... yet stories are still to be told.

Hello Everyone,

Eric made it home safely on Thursday, July 22. We are grateful to God for allowing him to minister so powerfully in India and then to bring him home safely to us all. I am thankful!! :)

Though he has taken almost 5 days to "recoup," he is feeling rested and ready to finish up his studies at Regent University... and... prepare for our wedding, October 10, 2010! :)

There are many stories to be told; however, I want to share a little of his experiences with you from the last days that he was in India. These are taken directly from an email that he sent me 3 days before he returned from India. I thought you guys might like to read about it all. :)
"I was on television twice doing portions of the Sermon on the Mount that was broadcast to over 29 countries and languages including the Middle East, places like Iran, Iraq and Saudi Arabi. On Patma's ministry broadcast I did Matthew 6 in a small television studio. Then I ministered Matthew 5 before one of the largest churches in Chennai and all of India for that matter. They have live television broadcast and it was before a live crowd of 20,000 people. Totally intense, total peace of God, glory to Christ Jesus.

Today (July 19), I go to St. Thomas mount and memorial. It is the death place of the Apostle Thomas, doubting Thomas. He was martyred here in the Chennai area around 1900 years ago. He made it all the way to Southern India preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ before he was stabbed to death as an old man. To this day Chennai has one of the stronger Christian populations in all of India. I can literally feel the difference in the atmosphere between here and Bangalore. Bangalore doesn't have as many believers and is not as open to the gospel."

May we continue to pray for Bangalore and Chennai. Please pray that the presence of the Lord would be just as evident, if not more, in Bangalore as it is in Chennai. Pray for the leaders to rise up and for the people to be open to receiving the Gospel of the one true living God...

Blessings,

April and Eric
